Jonny Reynolds marked his ‘final’ game at home for the club yesterday in style, bowing out with a century and a partnership of 297 with Will Kelly.

A great way to mark the last home game of the season for the ones and a huge partnership from two lads who have played at Baildon their whole lives!

A 1st ever tournament taking part in the Alan Igglesden Junior Festival at Bingley Congs for our new girls team supporting Iggysfund.
Despite being much the youngest team in the U12s competition, the girls fought hard and almost won 2 matches. Isabel and Alice were the stand outs but were well supported by Anna, Ava, Hattie and Pearl. Well done girls!

T20 cricket tonight at Baildon as we take on the Woodside Warriors. Game starts at 6.15pm and the bar will be open.

2 more matches played by our new girls team against Bingley Congs and Bradford and Bingley. Great to see the enjoyment and improvement.

A massive shoutout must go out to our youngster Michael Hannan after his performances for the Bradford League Representative side last week.

Mikey’s talent has been no secret to anyone involved in the club, having already had an impressive season (including a 90 for Bradford a few weeks ago), however he showcased that talent to everyone during Rep week.

On Thursday he scored his first Century in the semi final, finishing on 104 from 105 balls, leading the side to a score of 240 which proved to be enough to book them a spot in the Final.

As if his week couldn’t have got better, he scored his second Century in as many days, smashing 100 from 88 balls against the Heavy Woolen side and leading his side to victory, finishing as Man of the Match and the top run scorer in the competition!

What a week.

Well done Mikey, it’s fantastic to see all your hard work paying off and it’s very much deserved 💚

Our 1st ever girls match against the friendly Horsforth girls. Our girls did so well in the evening sunshine. Fielding, bowling and batting with lots of enthusiasm, encouragement and no little skill. Looking forward to our next match already

Some achievements deserve to be recognised for just how significant they are.

Last week, Jonny Reynolds became the club’s all-time leading run scorer, adding another remarkable milestone to a season in which he had already surpassed 10,000 career runs.

To score that volume of runs over so many years takes exceptional skill, consistency and commitment. Time and again, Jonny has been the man the first team has relied upon, producing innings when they have mattered most and setting the standard for those around him.

Records are there to be broken, but this is one that reflects years of dedication and countless contributions to the club.

Congratulations, Jonny, on an incredible achievement. A place in the club’s history that is thoroughly deserved. Here’s to many more runs and MANY MORE YEARS!
