🥋 Senior Randori – Last Thursday 🥋

A great senior randori session at Bacup Judo Club last Thursday! 💪

Despite the very hot conditions, everyone put in a fantastic effort, showed great determination, and enjoyed some quality randori. It's brilliant to see everyone pushing themselves and helping each other improve.

Throwback to the National Teams Championships!

What a fantastic day for Team Bacup Judo Club!

A huge congratulations to:
👏 Elias on winning bronze in the Pre-Cadet Team Event.🥉
👏 Jacob Shattock, Maisie Shattock and Tony Cliff on securing bronze in the Senior Team Event.🥉

We're incredibly proud of everyone who represented the club. Team events are all about working together, supporting one another and giving everything on the mat – and that's exactly what our judoka did.

Well Done Maisie 👏

Maisie Shattock finishes seventh at the 2026 Cadet European Championships! 🇬🇧7️⃣

The Bacup JC judoka battled her way through the repechage in the -57kg category, narrowly missing out on a place in the bronze medal contest after an impressive day on the tatami 👏

🥋 Competition Success! 🥋

A huge well done to Jack and Isaac, who competed at the Wirral Judo Competition this Sunday!

Both boys showed fantastic determination, courage, and sportsmanship throughout the day, fighting hard in every contest. Their efforts paid off as they both brought home medals from the Under 8s Development Championship! 🥇🥈
