🤯🤯 STRESS EATING 🤯🤯

This picture is actual representation of me eating my "breakfast" today 🙄

I am very much the type of person that turns to food when I'm feeling under pressure, and use it as a comfort mechanism 😅

The thing is, it's a FACT that is can be normal ⬇️

When stress levels are high, your body produces high levels of the stress hormone, cortisol.

Cortisol triggers cravings for salty, sweet, and fried foods—foods that give you a burst of energy and pleasure

🥞🍿🍩🍭🧁

So, try and not beat yourself up if you decide to have a tub of midget gems for breakfast.. 😜

Just don't do it every day 🍭

Can't believe I'm writing this..

But it's September 😅😍

6 whole months since I packed my stuff in Scotland and boosted to the other side of the world 🌎

My September is going to be slightly different to my usual dark nights & cold breeze.. with summer coming in over here, time to get the beach bod 🍑

Only 4 more months left of 2023 🤯

4 months to make your health and well-being a PRIORITY..

Don’t let yourself go into 2024 wishing you had started sooner 😟

F A I L U R E 🫣🫣

Many of us fear failure, the negative connotations associated with the word sends us into a spiral of bad feelings that we try hard to avoid 🥲

But what if we have been looking at it wrong this whole time?!

What about if we shifted our mindset to viewing failure as a POSITIVE rather than a negative 🧐

Failing at something doesn't mean we have to give up on it completely, it simply means that we now have a better understanding of how NOT to complete the task at hand..

It provides us with the opportunity to start again, but with more insight and knowledge into the task at hand, allowing us to complete it EVEN better this time round 🥳

Don't fear failure, thrive off it 😍

At the end of the day, it all comes down to one thing..

How much do you want it? 🤔

5 years into my fitness journey, a journey that has shaped me into the strong, confident woman that I once looked at "influencers" and dreamed of being 😅

The process is slow, it has ups and downs, good days and god so many bad days.. but I will tell you something..

QUITTING is not the answer. This will not speed anything up 🧐

I hear this from girls all the time ..

"I will never get a body like yours" ..

"I wish I had the confidence you have" ..

"There's no way I can ever look like that, you just look like that because you are a PT".. 🤯🤯

Here's the secret though, you really CAN have the confidence/ body that you want, if you are actually willing to make changes 😛

🤓 You have to break bad habits, and create better ones

🤓 You have to learn to not quit when you fail

🤓 You have to take risks that are outwith your comfort zones

Your body is capable of SO much more than you give yourself credit for, the only thing stopping yourself is YOU.

Start by replacing "I never will" to "I will" and you are half way there already 💁‍♀️

Small steps are better than no steps..

Clean up your diet, continue to eat food you ENJOY, but just eat less of it..

Move more every day, and if you struggle with this yourself, then get yourself a coach to stay accountable to!!🙌

The fundamentals are basic, you have to take the first steps, challenge yourself to change yourself!! 💯

So let me ask you again..

Even though all relationships are a two way street, it's the coaches responsibility to persue the connection and relationship between themselves and their clients throughout the coaching process ✨

The challenge of coaching is finding the middle ground, and balance between being logical and real with clients, as well as showing empathetic and emotional awareness 👀

A strong client - coach relationship is extremely important, not only for the clients growth and mental wellbeing, but as the teams performance as a whole 💪

Having a bad day? 🤓

Everyone has them. 🤷‍♀️

Some days.. training feels heavy, sluggish, just down right rubbish..

But some days its amazing and I feel like the next character in the Marvel Universe ✨

Some days I eat my perfect calories and hit a perfect pie chart on my macros..

But some days I eat a slice of cake for breakfast and the rest of the day is a write off 🙄

Some days I bounce out of my bed at 530am and get so much done and am super productive..

But some days I binge watch Netflix until I go back to sleep at night 🤷‍♀️

The most important thing to take from these days is that it's OKAY TO NOT BE PREFECT EVERY DAY 💭

Look back at yourself, on how far you have come, and always move forward, never backwards 👏

Progress.. Not perfection ✨

The truth about Mondays... 👀

How many times have you got to a Sunday and said to yourself..

"diet starts tomorrow"

"Monday is a fresh week, I can start then"

"Monday is the best day to start a diet, means I can enjoy one last weekend"

Sound familiar?? 😅🙄

The truth is.. Mondays are JUST ANOTHER DAY 🤯🤯🤯🤯

I know, I bet your mind blown 😜

Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy the weekends as much as anyone else, but ensuring we don't over consume at the weekends means we won't need to starve ourself throughout the rest of the week..

Ie eating lettuce for breakfast lunch and dinner on a Monday 😬

Get yourself moving today, and eat your normal foods and don't guilt eat and starve yourself for over consumption at the weekend 🤘
