Well, what a day for a Final and what a Final we had! Throughout the match, it was exceptionally close, with holes being won with birdies to go one up or with some amazing chips ( the 11th!) to secure a half. It is unfortunate there can only be one winner as both Catherine and Debbie played sooooo well. However the winner today, by one hole on the 18th, is Debbie Watt. Congratulations to Debbie on winning our Club Championship for the 7th? (will need to check as it could be more!) time and well done to Catherine too. They gave us a great final, played beautiful golf and maintained such a great sporting spirit! Thank you!

The Moore Cup Final, between Catherine and Gail, was played on Sunday. Weather luckily was fair and the quality of the golf excellent as you would expect. The victory, and Congratulations, on this occasion goes to Catherine!! And well done to Gail for making the final.

Congratulations to our very own Catherine who, playing with partner Alasdair, won the Ayrshire Golf Association Greensomes Jug yesterday!. Sounds like it was a really good match, which they eventually won 4/3. Congratulations to both.

What a week of wind, rain, sunshine and Red Arrows!

This week we had the 5 clubs and a putter competition where we had 13 entrants. It was tight at the top, where three players carded the same score. However, on countback Gail won with 34 points, followed closely by Fay and Debbie.

Congratulations to Gail on your win and a hearty well done to Fay and Debbie!

Catherine and Helen had their 7th round Daily Mail Foursomes tie today against some great ladies at Largs Golf Club. The weather and the course were amazing, and the golf was pretty good too, played in the best spirit of the game. The ladies from Largs however knew those greens and had an amazing short game which meant they finally took the win (3/2) and will progress into the next (8th) round of this National competition. Thanks to both for representing the Club! And watch out for our up and coming Daily Mail Qualifier for 2027!

The Wilson Cup Final was played over the weekend between Catherine and June. After what sounds like a great match, June was victorious. Well done both for getting to the Final and Congratulations to June on the win!.
