Ayr Boswell presentation night.

Every boy deserves an award but only had 4 to hand out. Well done to the boys who won the individual awards.

The 2025/26 season is behind us, huge thanks to the coaches for the year Scott Mcdougall, Catriona Smith, Tommy Fitzsimmons, Robert Madeley who rarely miss training and Sunday games. As well as Alan Warnock and Dale Russell for their assistance.

Lastly all the players and parents,without them we wouldn't have a team.

Now onto to summer tournament and pre season training.

Blantyre Soccer Academy Tournament (1st silverware of the season)

The Colts travelled up to Blantyre on a rainy Sunday morning for the first of many summer tournaments.

Game 1 v EK Burgh 2-0 win. Goals - Harley and Nathan

Game 2 v Morton thistle 3-2 defeat. Goals - Dylan and Harley

Game 3 v Giffnock reds 4-1 defeat. Goal - Derry

Game 4 v Cambusnethan talbot 0-0 Draw

Game 5 v Blantyre SA 0-0 draw

Semi final v Motherwell Pheonix 2-0 win. Goals - Dylan and Derry

Final vs EK Burgh 3-2 win. Goals - Harley x 2 and Dylan last minute screamer!

Excellent effort all day from the boys even though we had to play with only 11/12 available players through injuries. Showed some great character throughout. Only the start for these boys with other tournaments on the horizon.🟠⚽️

Match Report - Friendly Troon Thistle away 28.5.2026

It was a trip to Troon for the boys for what is always a tough test against a strong Troon Thistle side and it proved that way throughout.

The colts started a bit slow with Troon on top on the early stages forcing a couple of early saves from Lukasz We settled in a bit as the first half went on, then Blane had to pull the gloves on midway through the 1st half when Lukasz picked up and injury. Both teams battled well but both defences stood strong taking it to the break goalless.

Second half the boys matched Troons fight more and started to play a bit more creating chances. We managed to break to deadlock through a great counter attack with Cole running through (his first game back after 3 months out injured) and slotted calmly into the bottom corner. Again it stayed really tight with both teams creating chances and Blane made a fantastic save from the Troon striker who look certain to score!

The Colts managed to get another, through really hard work in the corner from Harley to then find Kaiden at the edge of the box who stuck it first time with his right foot, curling into the top corner.

Decent display from all the boys again especially with a good few having played in a school tournament all day. Was great to have Isaac back too tonight who produced a solid performance at the back and wouldn’t have thought he’d been away for so long. Special mention to Blane who again played in goals and got the clean sheet 👏🏻 onto Sunday away to Irvine meadow to finish the season then look forward to the summer tournaments.🔵⚽️⚽️

Whitletts Vics away 24.5.26

The colts returned to league business today in the glorious sunshine at new voluntary park. Better conditions for watching football than playing to be fair but the boys started well in what was always going to be a tough game against a well organised Whitletts side who have had a good season. Lucasz was tested early but came off his line to make himself big and put in great block from the Whitletts striker. The boys energy was second to none and really made it difficult for Whitletts to get many chances. We created a few chances but couldn't make the breakthrough before half time with the closest coming from a shot from a distance from Ryan which hit the bar.

Second half a few boys changed positions and rotated well with the heat telling on both sides. The game was really close and could have went either way but with 10 minutes to play, Kaiden hit a free kick from wide left and it fell to Nathan who reacted well to put us into the lead. The efforts from the boys to see out the win was excellent to watch. Every one of the boys gave everything from the firstto the last minute today and is something to build on over the few weeks leading up to the summer tournaments.
