Ayr Cricket Club - Cambusdoon Ayr Cricket Club has 3 Senior XI's a Women's section along with thriving Junior section that fields teams at Under 10s, 12s, 14s & 16s.

The club are always looking for new players to come along and develop their game or just come along and play for fun! Ayr Cricket Club is situated right in the heart of Burns Country only minutes from Alloway village. We moved to our present purpose built clubhouse and ICC accredited ODI ground in 1997, the club itself being one of the oldest in Scotland, having recently celebrated 160 years in existence. Our First Eleven play in the WDCU Premier Division. We have Second and Third teams which play each weekend also. Our thriving Junior Section which regularly fields teams for Under 12's, 13's, 15's, 17's and 18's keeps the coaches busy all season and on Friday nights the Minis learn to play Kwik Cricket with great enthusiasm from our dedicated team of coaches.

This year, as a club, we were delighted to introduce our very own Hall of Fame, recognising individuals who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the club.

At our Awards Night on Saturday, we were proud to induct our three inaugural Hall of Fame members:
• T. C. Dunlop
• J. M. Allan
• D. J. Simpson

All three have made a massive impact on the club in their own unique ways, and we are delighted to recognise their outstanding contributions.

A huge thank you and farewell to our overseas amateur, Reuben Swanepoel, who leaves us next week after a great season at Ayr Cricket Club.

Reuben has been a great addition to the club, both on and off the field. A special thanks for all the time and effort he has put into coaching and helping our junior players — something that has been hugely appreciated.

After a fantastic spell with us, we’re saying goodbye to Dale Phillips, who is heading back to New Zealand with his family.

Dale has been a great part of the club, both on and off the field, and he’ll certainly be missed around the place.

From everyone at the club, thank you for everything, Dale, and we wish you and your family all the very best for the future. 🏏💚

Unfortunately, Sunday’s McCulloch Cup semi-final and final matches had to be cancelled due to the overnight rain. 🌧️
