It was brilliant to get a coaching session in the sunshine with summer just around the corner – the energy and atmosphere were spot on. ☀️

The boys were excellent again this evening, showing real quality in their individual work and then bringing it all together collectively. The passing patterns and combinations were in full flow, sharp, quick, and absolutely flying, with great movement and communication throughout.

You can really see the progress and the confidence growing each week.

If this is the standard now, there’s so much to be excited about — really looking forward to what’s coming next. 🔜

🥊 S&C | Conditioning Boxing

Consistency is 🔐

Last night’s session was slightly different to our usual setup. The players were still put through their paces, but the focus shifted away from heavy loading and powerful, explosive movements, and instead centred on endurance-based work. The session was designed to challenge both physically and mentally, requiring sustained effort over longer periods of time.

A key emphasis was placed on body control and efficiency of movement, with players working hard across the machines while maintaining good technique. Controlling breathing and managing pace were crucial throughout, as the aim was to sustain intensity and remain consistent for the full duration of each station. It was a demanding session that tested resilience, discipline, and the ability to push through fatigue while staying composed and in control.
