I lost 50kg and the hardest part wasn’t losing the weight.
The hardest part was everything that came AFTER.

Learning when to say no.
Managing my stress levels.
Prioritising sleep and rest so I don't burnout.

Recovering properly basically AND keeping the standards that got me there.

What’s interesting is that as I’ve got leaner over the years, body fat doesn’t seem to store in the same places it used to.

When I was 50kg heavier, I carried far more fat around my waist, chest, face, and lower back.

Now even when I gain a bit of body fat, my physique looks completely different.

More muscle.
Better habits overall.
Better body composition.

It's a dream,

But here’s where most people are getting it wrong.

They think the answer is to get EVEN more aggressive.

Slash calories again MORE .
Add MORE cardio.
Push EVEN harder.

Most lifters don’t need another diet.

They need to stop shooting themselves in the foot.

Poor sleep.
High stress.
Too much caffeine.
Scrolling until midnight.
Ignoring fatigue build up and just forcing more volume down your own throat.

The physique is often just the symptom, there will be a root cause.

Follow if you’re building a physique for life, and want to get in sick shape this summer.

Imagine spending all that time and effort to barely move the physique forwards an INCH all because..

You were putting all that effort into the WRONG thing,

Then that leaves you frustrated, angry and doubting that you have what it takes to succeed in this game,

So you hammer out More workouts
More cardio
Less food

And it doesn't work,

I've seen this time and time again hard working men, killing themselves in the gym, but not moving their physique forwards AT ALL,

Stuck in limbo, 😔

But what if it was your recovery holding you back,

Under your nose all along...

DM or comment "RECOVER" to grab the free scorecard that will tell you exactly what to do next to help fix your recover and start making progress again,

Or do you want to wait another 6 months watching everyone else fly past you making more progress?

Follow to start finally levelling up that physique and not look back.

Wait, before you check out with another supplement in your trolley, check what’s already in it, when you go food shopping next time.

You didn't have a recovery problem, but you do have a nutrition problem, that turned into a recovery problem and you didn't even know it...

Your recovery doesn’t suck because you’re not taking enough supplements, overtraining or even sleeping well enough.

But you still wake up tired some how,

It sucks because you’re not eating enough quality food.

Recovery is built on the basics: enough calories, enough protein, quality carbohydrates, healthy fats, fruit, vegetables and hydration.

Supplements are there to SUPPORT a good diet, not replace one.

So ask yourself this.

Are you actually eating the recommended amount of fruit and vegetables every day?

Fruit and vegetables won’t directly build muscle or burn fat,

But eating 5–8 portions a day can massively improve recovery, digestion, hunger control, health and consistency, making it easier to achieve your physique goals long term.

Before "if it fits in your macros" will only save you for so long. 😅

I used to weigh over 50kg more than I do today.

And truthfully? The weight wasn’t the worst part.

The worst part was looking in the mirror and not recognising the person staring back at me.

I remember being at Harry Potter World of all places with my family and seeing photos of myself.

My face was round. 🌝

I looked tired.
I looked unhealthy.

And for the first time in my life, I didn’t look like the person I thought I was.

Growing up, I’d always been active.

I played sport.
I served in the military.
I’d always seen myself as disciplined, hardworking and someone who got things done.

Somewhere along the line, I’d convinced myself I’d lost that person.

I thought I needed more motivation.

More discipline.
More cardio.
Maybe even better genetics.

Looking back now, none of those were the real problem.

The problem was perspective.

I was looking in all the wrong places.

I thought my results would come from training harder.

So I’d go from zero to a hundred.

Five gym sessions.
Extra cardio.
Trying to be perfect.

Then a few weeks later I’d burn out and end up back where I started.

What finally changed everything was realising that building a physique isn’t just about the gym.

It’s about your nutrition.

Your recovery.
Your sleep.
Your habits and mindset.

It’s a lifestyle, not a workout plan.

Most men don’t have a genetics problem.

They have a perspective problem.

They’re looking at supplements when they should be looking at sleep.

They’re looking for a better programme when they haven’t mastered consistency.

They’re blaming their genetics while rewarding themselves every weekend for surviving Monday to Friday.

And that’s exactly why they stay stuck.

If you’re reading this and feel like you’ve tried everything…

Good.

Because it probably means you don’t need another plan.

You just need to start focusing on the things that actually matter.

You are not stuck.
You are not broken.
And you definitely don’t need elite genetics to build a physique you’re proud of.

Follow along if you want to stop overcomplicating fitness and start making progress that actually lasts.

Most men building muscle don’t need to work harder. They need to stop shooting themselves in the foot.

Yes, magnesium works.
Yes, supplements can help.

But they don’t stop you doom-scrolling until midnight.

They don’t stop you checking work emails at 10pm.
They don’t set boundaries for you.

And they definitely don’t prioritise your recovery.

The reason most people stall isn’t because they’re missing another supplement.

It’s because they’re treating recovery like an afterthought.

You cannot build muscle without recovering from your training.

You cannot KEEP dropping body fat indefinitely while ignoring sleep, stress, hydration, and recovery.

At some point, your body will push back.

Most people don’t need more effort.

They need more focus on the things that actually move the needle.

Set better boundaries.
Recover like it matters.
Because it does.

Supplements aren't going to help you get out your own way.
