I lost 50kg and the hardest part wasn’t losing the weight.
The hardest part was everything that came AFTER.
Learning when to say no.
Managing my stress levels.
Prioritising sleep and rest so I don't burnout.
Recovering properly basically AND keeping the standards that got me there.
What’s interesting is that as I’ve got leaner over the years, body fat doesn’t seem to store in the same places it used to.
When I was 50kg heavier, I carried far more fat around my waist, chest, face, and lower back.
Now even when I gain a bit of body fat, my physique looks completely different.
More muscle.
Better habits overall.
Better body composition.
It's a dream,
But here’s where most people are getting it wrong.
They think the answer is to get EVEN more aggressive.
Slash calories again MORE .
Add MORE cardio.
Push EVEN harder.
Most lifters don’t need another diet.
They need to stop shooting themselves in the foot.
Poor sleep.
High stress.
Too much caffeine.
Scrolling until midnight.
Ignoring fatigue build up and just forcing more volume down your own throat.
The physique is often just the symptom, there will be a root cause.
Follow if you’re building a physique for life, and want to get in sick shape this summer.
