Boingy at 90cm now ❤️ 🦄

Ended a sj clinic last Tuesday with this... a full up 80cm course of 14 jumps, a skinny, 2 sets of doubles and plenty of fillers. Our first clear round! Silvie was loving life, a few weeks off from jumping has done wonders.

Slightly bricking it now though as tomorrow we’ve been put in the 80/90 class 😳🤞🏼🦄

Reaching new heights (finally!). This was a 90cm oxer. Admittedly she did throw a few run outs at this jump but we persevered and after pinging it once she then cantered into it just lovely. 😍🦄💕 on the whole our jump sessions are starting bigger and with less faffing around at the beginning.

Keeping pushing forward with the jumping so last night headed off for some xc schooling. Going was great, Silvie was great, and we missed the rain! Did jumps, brushes, arrow head, hedge, skinny, water, and.... steps up and down, only small but good to have ticked that fear off. Didn’t get pinged into space, she was very steady and literally stepped down it. Woohoo 🎉 🦄 💕

3 years, 1 head injury, 30 months of side effects, a LOT of nerves, a few tears, ever-changing feelings of disappointment, frustration, and at times, elation, and a few whiskeys later.... and we got round a One Day Event. The course was tiny, it wasn't pretty; we had a few stops, but we got round! In fact, just 4 faults for showjumping and Silvie FLEW the last 6 jumps of the XC, which, considering she's never been alone on an xc course, i'm so proud of her. Dressage was a respectable 61.3% but, like Tiff, the jumping is definitely what she enjoys more.

I feel like we are finally in the place we should have been 2 years ago so here's hoping the only way is up (and occasionally sideways) now!! 🦄
