💪 JUST A FRIENDLY REMINDER...
As much as I love Pilates, Pilates alone isn't enough for optimal health.
Pilates is fantastic for improving posture, mobility, balance, body awareness, core strength and movement quality, but for a healthy, resilient body we also need:
🏋️ Strength Training – to build and maintain muscle and bone strength.
❤️ Cardiovascular Exercise – to support heart health, stamina and overall wellbeing.
🚶 Regular Walking & Daily Movement – because our bodies are designed to move, not sit all day!
My own weekly routine includes Pilates, strength training, two spin classes each week and plenty of dog walking with Eddie. 🐶
Think of Pilates as one important piece of the puzzle rather than the whole picture.
A balanced body needs a balanced exercise programme.
