Mega raffle prizes with proceeds going the the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team UpBattle Splitboarding has been bringing the splitboard stoke for 13 years and for 2026 season UpBattle wants to give more folk the chance to enjoy splitboarding beyond our yearly event at Caringorm. Teaming up with Snowsport Scotland we are running two
events this year to grow our community.
1st we head west to the legendary Glencoe Mountain on the 7th of February. The workshops will focus on introducing a live tour coupled with Be Avalanche Aware practice and SAIS report reading which will run morning and repeat in afternoon. Product demos available all day to trial kit and rip some turns on the terrain Glencoe has to offer. Our yearly event at Cairngorm Mountain takes place on the 14th & 15th of March. The top brands from Jones, Burton, K2, Ride, Capita, Nidecker, Stranda, Weston, Apmlid, SparkR&D and Union bindings will be there allowing you to test some of best splitboard kit out there on UK snow, with a Derby race thrown in. We will showcase all the boards and kit in a designated demo area at the top of the train in the Ptarmigan bowl. Our workshops will focus on advanced snow safety with our good friends from Ortovox and the second a longer tour with route planning. The now legendary raffle will be raising funds for the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue team.
