SOTRG is managed by Sandy Paterson. Along with Sandy you are also likely to spend time with Ian Stewart and Dave Chapman, all hold the Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Qualification (the UK’s highest instruction award allowing them to work both summer and winter in all types of terrain in the UK). As well as providing bespoke training and coaching courses we also deliver both the Summer Mountain Leader Award and the Winter Mountain Leader Award. As well as these awards we also deliver the Hill and Mountain Skills, Rock Skills and the Lowland Leader Award.
We pride ourselves on our professional and friendly manner, be it on a skills course, training or assessment.
With the whole of Scotland to choose from we can take you to some breath-taking places for your adventure and your training.
