I don't often paddle from Gruinard beach, it's often a bit busy for my liking, I thought maybe it wouldn't be too bad on a February weekend. How wrong was I - pesky blighters following me everywhere I went, jumping and splashing again and again. No peace at all.

Also seems to be a busy time for folk getting their holiday plans sorted, if you've got a particular morning or afternoon you want to book then I advise emailing me as early as you.

I need to keep reminding myself that it's October, what a fantastic week of weather we've had - hardly a bit of wind all week! Most days I've been exploring the craggy coastline of Mellon Charles, so it's felt like a lazy week not going far from home. Off to paddle from Poolewe in a minute for a change of scenery.
