We've been having some nice encounters with a bit of wildlife lately. I do love the hard to spot creatures that are well camouflaged, makes it more rewarding when you spot them. Obviously the creatures that come and give you a display are pretty good too, and it's always nice to be interesting enough that creatures that come to look at us!

As a WiSe scheme member we always try to limit our impact on wildlife as much as possible, apart from cat - always try and pet a cat. Sadly we don't spot many cats whilst paddling.

Sorry.
I know a lot of people were coming up to the north west to escape the sunshine and heat, we did have wind, rain and low temperatures but sadly that has changed. Today we're forecast 22 degrees, sunshine and a light cooling sea breeze - just like we've had for the last few days.
I know it's not what anyone wants, but I guess we'll just have to make the most of it.
(glad it's not the silly temperatures down south are getting!)

I don't often paddle from Gruinard beach, it's often a bit busy for my liking, I thought maybe it wouldn't be too bad on a February weekend. How wrong was I - pesky blighters following me everywhere I went, jumping and splashing again and again. No peace at all.

Also seems to be a busy time for folk getting their holiday plans sorted, if you've got a particular morning or afternoon you want to book then I advise emailing me as early as you.
