The 1st XI were in Talbot Cup action on sunday, when we travelled to Endon CC.

We batted firat and made excellent progress to post an imposing total of 265-5 from our 40 overs 💥💪

This was built around a superb century from Ali Hamza, who made 101 not out from 108 balls 💯👏

His knock included 12 x 4s & 1 x 6. This was again backed up by an important 39 from Ash Rogers 🤝

After tea, we continued our grip on the game and wickets were shared around between the bowlers to dismiss the hosts for 137.

Huey Neild was the pick of the bowlers to finish woth 3-17 👌

Onto the next round!! 💚💛

Te 2nd XI travelled to Bagnall Norton last weekend in Div 3 action.

Having elected to bat first, our innings failed to get going as we had hoped and apart from an impressive 46 from Muhammad Ismail 💪, we were unable to build a competetive total, and were eventually dismissed for just 98.

The hosts made short work of the run chase, but there was enough time for Paul Harris to pick up 3-27 along the way 👏

A defeat to move on from quickly as we entertain Norton in Hales on Saturday at Kent Hills, we go again! 💚💛

The 1st XI continued their impressive firm in the league with a win against Hem Heath at Kent Hills last Saturday!

Batting first, we posted 198/8 from our 55 overs. A second half cebtury in as many weeks for Rabi Ahmed (64) was backed up by 46 from Ash Rogers💪

Our bowlers were excellent in response, and a 5 wicket haul for Jack Redman (5-36) saw us home to a 50 run victory!!

We keep pushing this weekend, with a trip to Newcastle & Hartshill 👊💚💛
