So academy gradings are booked for the end of this month. Was great to see full classes, with all students smashing it with effort and determination.
To achieve what you set out to do at the beginning, sometimes we have to look at how far you have come. You can lose sight of the goals you have conquered... it's good to look back and feel proud of what you have achieved.
I remember starting teaching my own classes 20 years ago, and how far my academies have grown since then is a proud achievement of mine.
So take time to look back on your time in the arts, remember how you felt on your very first class, the obstacles you have overcome to get where you are. Give yourself a well deserved pat on the back, then use that feeling to smash the next hurdle in front of you.
