One more sleep until term restarts… who’s excited?! 🙋🏻‍♀️

Thinking about stopping swimming now the colder months are coming? Please don’t!

Here’s why you shouldn’t! 👇🏼✨

We know it’s tempting… darker nights, colder mornings and getting the kids out of the house suddenly feels like a military operation!! We get it…

But here are 5 reasons we really believe keeping swimming going through the winter is so important:

🌟 Confidence can disappear surprisingly quickly, we see it all the time. Children who have worked so hard to build their confidence and skills then take a long break and suddenly feel nervous again when they return. Keeping that regular routine makes such a difference.

☀️ Summer swimmers are made in the winter!
If you want your little one to be confident, independent and loving the water next summer, now is the time to build those skills. You don’t want to wait until the sunshine comes back to start again!

🌡️ The pool is still the same temperature!
It might be freezing outside, but our pool doesn’t suddenly get colder because it’s winter! Once you’re through the doors, you’re warm, cosy and ready to swim. And if you’re worried about a cold changing room, pack a hot water bottle and wrap your towel around it ready for when you get out. Problem = solved!

🤗 They get to see their swimming friends!
For so many of our swimmers, swimming is a huge part of their week. They see their friends, have fun, build confidence and enjoy being part of our little swimming family.

💔 And honestly… we’d miss them!
We genuinely look forward to seeing your children every week. We get to watch them overcome fears, learn new skills, gain confidence and achieve things they once thought they couldn’t.

So please, don’t let winter put you off.

Keep them swimming!!

The best thing about our job? Seeing our swimmers enjoying the water with the skills we’ve helped them build! 🥹

There’s something so special about watching a child who once came to us feeling super scared and anxious around water suddenly become confident in the pool. 🥰

This is why we do what we do. 🫶🏼
