This weekend saw the last game of the season for these girls and they gave a brilliant performance v the run away league winners so well done to every single one of them for not only that game but for the whole season.
There were 2 girl of the game this week. Firstly to Bridget who played way out of position in goal for that last ten minutes and to cherry who absolutely bossed the middle of the park.

Been way too slow in posting these but the Falcons have been playing a lot of fixtures recently and hit a run of good form towards the end of the season.

Yesterday the girls played Solihull away. After a slow start and difficult first half the girls turned things round with an excellent second half display.
They battled hard and showed real maturity.
Girl of the game this week went to Jasmine. She came on after 10 minutes and made an instant impact working hard and creating chances and added another goal to her tally.

Today the Falcons played Coundon Court in the quarter final of the cup.
The girls started the game perfectly with high pressured football and were rewarded with an early lead from Evie.
The opposition came back into the game and the Falcons dealt with them brilliantly but eventually conceded shortly before half time.
Second half and the girls gave everything and really deserved something from the game but were unlucky to concede again and unfortunately exit the cup but should be proud of how they have performed during their cup run this year.
Girl of the game this week went to Emily after giving everything for the team as she does week in week out.
Well done Emily and well done Falcons ⚽🙌

Despite all rain recently the girls have managed to get a good run of fixtures in.
Firstly 2 weeks ago they took a long trip to Telford for a league game and the last 2 weeks have played back to back cup games which have both resulted in convincing wins and a space in the 4th round of the cup.

Today the girls played such impressive football as a team they were all awarded girl of the game.

Yesterday the Falcons played another home game against a strong Coventry City side.
Although the girls played some impressive football again, the high pressing opposition took the spoils and unfortunately a loss for the Falcons.
Girl of the game this week went to Amber. Amber has been covering the defensive team for the first half of this season and she's done a fantastic job but the last 2 weeks she's been playing a more preferred right wing position which she's been exceptional at. She works hard to cover the full length of the pitch and makes pin point passes.

Today we faced a tough fixture V Bustleholme at home.
From the outset and throughout the girls played quality, intelligent, pass and move football.
They created numerous chances and deservedly took the lead through a perfectly slotted goal from Bridget.
The opposition struggled to break through due to the Falcons pressure when out of possession but pulled one back from a long range effort.
Second half and the girls continued to battle hard and create chances moving the ball around so well.
The Falcons scored their second and the match winner from a short Frankie goal kick to Mollie, then Amber on the wing and then Evie who offered so much strength to get her shot off and secure the winner.
Girls of the game this week went to Mollie who was playing in a back 3 defense who passed it between themselves when under pressure so calmly and She was also a rock when facing attacks from the opposition.
Also this week it went to Evie. Evie chased down every single ball and was so strong and determined. She was rewarded for her performance with the winning goal.
Well done girls and well done Falcons.

Great bunch of girls ...

We've been a quiet on here recently but here's our latest girls of the games.....
Firstly captain Cherry who put in yet another strong performance V Kidderminster Harriers a couple of weeks back.
And today in one of the stand out team performances of the season Gracie who was back to doing what she does best linking up the midfield and attack and keeper Frankie who came out to deal with any early threats and made a wonder save in the first half.
