HYDRATION IS KEY

Water does so much more for your body than simply quench your thirst. Staying hydrated helps support:

- Brain function, focus & mood
- Energy & physical performance
- Healthy circulation & blood pressure
- Digestion & kidney function
- Body temperature regulation

But when we don’t drink enough, dehydration can quickly start having a negative impact - causing headaches, tiredness, dizziness, poor concentration and reducing your ability to perform in training and progress towards your goals.

Severe dehydration can become dangerous, potentially leading to fainting, overheating, kidney problems, confusion and other serious complications.

Your body needs water to function at its best. So drink your water and be consistent with it.
Three of my top tips are:
- Drink 500ml with every single meal, that way you’re guaranteed to get a good amount in, just through meals.
- Always carry a water bottle with you as if it’s in sight, it’s in mind.
- Set reminders on your phone to drink, if you do consistently forget.

Chose your hard wisely. One builds a healthier, stronger version of yourself. One continues to long for it.

Being committed to improving yourself isn’t an easy, quick process. But it’s a much easier process than staying where you are and letting it weigh you down mentally. Plus, there is nothing more satisfying than knowing you’re putting in the work and seeing the results.

The early mornings, the workouts you don’t feel like doing, improving your nutrtion, staying consistent when progress feels slow - I promise it all adds up.

Consistency, discipline and a different version of you waiting on the other side - chose the hard, not the harder.

If you need help becoming a better version of yourself, let me help you get there this winter 🫶🏼

A little reminder that you can’t always believe everything you see on social media… 💫

These photos were taken in the same place, at the same time, in the same outfit both of the same body.

The only real difference? In one, I’m posing. I’m standing a certain way, holding myself differently and thinking about the angle. In the other, I’ve relaxed.

Neither photo is fake, neither photo is better. They’re both me.

This is exactly the point. When we scroll through social media, we’re often seeing what people want us to see. The flattering angle, the good lighting, the pose, the photo they picked from multiple taken.

And then we compare that carefully selected moment to our own body when we’re sitting on the sofa, getting dressed, catching ourselves in a mirror or simply existing without thinking about how we look.

Bodies move. They fold. They soften. They look different depending on how we stand, how we sit, the angle of the camera, the lighting and even the second the photo was taken.

So next time you see a photo online and find yourself thinking “why doesn’t my body look like that?” remember that you’re seeing one selected moment.

Your relaxed body doesn’t need fixing just because somebody else’s posed body appeared on your feed.
