We started strongly and put in a great performance throughout the game.

Unfortunately, we came away with a narrow defeat, but the lads played really well and can be proud of their effort, attitude, and commitment from start to finish.

A big well done to all the boys for their hard work and determination.

U8s LSA Lightning vs Salford Storm Lightning (MYSL Summer league)

A fantastic win in our first Summer League game!

With no subs available and two halves of 27 minutes to play, every player showed great determination, teamwork, and effort throughout the match.

Every single player put in an excellent performance, and the team worked tirelessly from start to finish.

After a hugely successful start to all of our teams first season’s, we’re now looking to build out more teams with the aim of offering more players opportunities to play even more football!!! Here’s what we’re looking for right now ✅:
⚽️ U7’s (School year 2 as of September) - Thursday training, Saturday match
⚽️ U8's (School year 3 as of September) - Thursday training, Sunday match
⚽️ U9's (School year 4 as of September) - Tuesday training, Sunday match
⚽️ U10's (School year 5 as of September) - Friday training, Sunday match

We provide professional coaching, and all teams play in competitive leagues including MYSL and Salford & District league.

U8s LSA Lightning – MYSL Europa League Winners 🏆 At Macclesfield Football Club

What these lads have achieved over the last 12 months has been nothing short of impressive. Their growth as players, the bond they've built as a team, and the way they give everything in every game and training session has been outstanding.

Their commitment, determination, hard work, and togetherness have been there for everyone to see, and this trophy is a reward for all the effort they've put in throughout the season.

A fantastic group of players who should be incredibly proud of themselves.

Appreciation post for our U9’s group. The development and togetherness of these boys since starting last September has been on another planet! We couldn’t be prouder of them all and their progression! Today wasn’t their day losing out in their cup final with no goalkeeper in Charlie but wow have they been flying this season 😮‍💨

U8s LSA Thunder vs Swinton Tigers (SDFL)

Our final league game of the season, and unfortunately the lads just ran out of steam after a long, hard season.

The progress they’ve made over the last 12 months has been fantastic to see, and every single player should be proud of themselves. Well done, lads.

A big congratulations to Freddie and Jacob, who picked up the Parents’ Player Award for always getting stuck in, working hard, and giving everything for the team.

Well done as well to Sterling, who won Manager’s Player after stepping in goal due to injury and making some cracking saves throughout the game.

Finally, a huge thank you to all the parents, guardians, grandparents and families, for your amazing support throughout the season — it’s massively appreciated and means a lot to everyone involved.

A great win and a really good game against a physical and technically strong side. Every single player got stuck in and worked hard from start to finish. Unlucky not to come away with something today. A few decisions didn’t go our way, but the work rate and effort from everyone was excellent. We played some really good football throughout
