So this morning the ladies
tried something different & SMASHED a ladies lifting workshop 💪🏻🏋🏻‍♀️

We focused on 5 lifts
* Hip Thrusts
* Deadlifts
* Squats
* Clean & Press
* RDL’s

Each station was 12 minutes
trying to complete 5/6 lifts each within this time focusing on technique & form while looking to lift heavier weight

I think the ladies were abit nervous but they “genuinely”
SMASHED IT OUT THE PARK
everyone did so well &
I’m made up for all of them

Massive well done ladies 👏🏻

So this morning
we tried something different & jumped on the Hyrox bandwagon 💪🏻

We did a “buddy workout” in a Hyrox format YGIG 😅

Starting with a Warm up then a 1K Run
followed by the main course a 20min AMRAP & 1K Run to finish off
(It was ALOT Tougher than I just made it sound) 🥵

The ladies SMASHED IT OUT THE PARK unbelievable effort by all of you and I think
they enjoyed it (I think) 😂

Massive well done ladies 👏🏻

We go again next week 👍🏻

Sooooo this is the “lovely” Janine

Since starting training with me in November 2023
Janine has done so well & come so far in her fitness journey
(especially since her first session)

When she first came to me with a goal of wanting to look good in her wedding dress for her wedding day & wanted to do TWO 6am sessions a week I’ll be honest I was abit skeptical

And the FIRST session didn’t exactly go to plan

ITS 6AM ON A COLD DARK WET NOVEMBER MONDAY MORNING &
Janine fainted 10 minutes in
(I actually thought she was dead)
But thankfully she was ok…phew

I thought she’ll either never come back or she’ll go again

But thankfully Janine came back & one thing I quickly learned about Janine was she’s got something about her she’s a strong determined woman
(OR AS I CALL IT SHES GOT LADY BALLS!!!)

Over the coming months there was steady progress with getting both fitter & stronger whether that be

PBs on squats deadlifts clean & press

lifting heavier with dumbbells

Faster times on bike ski row

Or doing a extra round on a AMRAP or being physically & mentally capable of doing more

AND EVEN WANTING TO DO MORE & BELIEVING SHE COULD

+++
EVEN joining the gym to do extras

With all these ups though there has to be some downs along the way too with a couple of injuries that we’ve had to manage & find alternatives to keep in mind the end goal

To get Janine feeling & looking good for her big day (I think she did that)

In doing all of the above the main thing was keeping track of her diet & nutrition with calories & macros &
she has shown amazing self discipline

BY LOSING JUST UNDER 4 STONE!!!
(Yep you heard right)

Also 21.5 inches across
chest / right arm / waist / right leg too

SHES SMASHED IT!!!
Genuinely

She shown a great attitude towards the fact it’s a marathon not a sprint

NO QUICK FIXES!!!

Just good old fashioned hardwork
roll your sleeves up get stuck in & have a go

Over this time we got on really well had a laugh
(most of the time at my expense)
whilst at the same time getting the work done & I have to say it’s been an absolute pleasure

This being one of the reasons we didn’t really get any videos whilst training

So this summary/shy interview is the best we got

I’m gutted she’s leaving
*wont miss the 6am starts though

I’m very proud of all Janine has achieved in this time I’m made up for her

Congratulations Janine
you’ve been absolutely brilliant
