🇬🇧 D-Day Remembrance – Men’s Own RFC 🇬🇧

Today, we remember the bravery, sacrifice and unwavering spirit of the men and women who took part in the Normandy Landings on 6 June 1944.

Many of those who served were ordinary people from communities just like ours—teammates, friends, family members and sportsmen—who answered an extraordinary call when their country needed them most.

As a club built on camaraderie, resilience and respect, we pause to honour all those who fought for our freedom and remember those who never returned home.

Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Mens Own RFC welcome to the club this Saturday as the tourists roll into town for what promises to be a cracking afternoon of rugby! ☀️🍻

Last Friday, after a year away, we were delighted to bring back the club’s Annual Dinner. It was a fantastic evening celebrating the season with players, supporters, parents, and partners. A great occasion for both the club and everyone involved.

What a night at the Mens Own RFC Annual Dinner yesterday. 🏉✨

A big shout out to Simeon from for the great service and meal!

A brilliant evening celebrating everything that makes this club special, our players, the incredible support from the village, and the loyal supporters who stand with us through every high and low.

It was a chance to reflect on the season, share stories and laughs, and appreciate the people who make Mens Own RFC more than just a rugby club, it’s a community.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the night such a success. Here’s to more memories, more rugby, and another great year ahead.

Rugby was the real winner yesterday.

People often talk about rugby being in a bad place, clubs struggling and interest fading, but when you bring together two great teams, loyal supporters, families, and friends, you’re reminded exactly why this game is so special. What a day.

A huge thank you to .imperial.rfc , you guys were brilliant from start to finish. We hope the hangovers aren’t too rough, and we’re already looking forward to hopefully making the trip to you next year on tour.

As the saying goes… rugby days are the best days. 🏉

We’re incredibly proud to share that our groundsman, chief job officer, and all-round legend Charlie Rock has been recognised for his outstanding dedication and hard work at Northampton Mens Own RFC. 👏🏉

Charlie was nominated as part of the RFU Volunteer Recognition Programme, supported by Switch, celebrating the amazing volunteers who are such an important part of the game.

As part of this recognition, Charlie has been selected by the RFU Facility Development team to attend a special behind-the-scenes experience at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham — including a stadium tour, meeting RFU staff, and even the chance to walk the famous pitch.

A thoroughly deserved honour for someone who gives so much to the club week in, week out. Congratulations Charlie!
