A simple practice for your Wednesday.

Pause whatever you’re doing.

Place both feet on the floor.

Take a slow breath in for a count of four.

Hold for two.

Exhale for six.

Repeat three to five times…..or longer ….

Notice:

Your shoulders softening.
Your jaw relaxing.
Your mind becoming a little quieter.

Sometimes the smallest practices create the biggest shifts.

One of the things I love most about holistic wellbeing is that there isn’t just one path.

Some people find healing through movement.

Some through stillness.

Some through talking.

Some through sound, breath, meditation or energy work.

That’s why I offer a range of therapies and classes because every person is unique and deserves support that meets them where they are.

So often we’re encouraged to start the week at full speed, but our nervous systems weren’t designed to live in a constant state of doing.

Instead, try asking…..How do I want to feel this week?

Calm?
Energised?
Focused?
Balanced?
Peaceful?

When we begin with intention rather than pressure, everything shifts.

Before the busyness of another week begins, I invite you to pause for a moment and check in with yourself.

Not what needs doing.
Not what everyone else needs from you.

Just you.

How is your body feeling?

How is your mind feeling?

What is your heart asking for today?

Perhaps you need movement.
Perhaps you need rest.
Perhaps you simply need permission to slow down.

Take a deep breath and ask yourself……What do I need more of this week?

Choosing to slow down can be a radical act of self-care.

You are allowed to rest.
You are allowed to pause.
You are allowed to honour your own needs.

Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is give ourselves permission to simply be.

I created Linda Anslow Wellness because I know what it feels like to be exhausted, overwhelmed and disconnected from yourself.

You don’t have to wait until you’re burnt out to rest.

Take 60 seconds right now.

Breathe in slowly through your nose.

Exhale gently through your mouth.

Repeat three times.

Notice how your shoulders soften.
