Ben Nevis hike via CMD North face route. Also went to visit the Neptune's staircase and the Glenfinnan viaduct to see the hogwarts train

So today I did it,, we did it. A few of us hiked and scrambled the Snowdon horseshoe taking in the amazing Crib goch ridge
I have to say it was the most challenging hike I have ever done but we got to see so many beutiful views. The landscape is so incredable.

It was amazing to finally meet some lovely people to enjoy the hike with and make new friends. Made the hike much more interesting.

We also got to know a lovely South African lady who had paid for a tour guide but her never showed up so we asked if she wanted to join us which she was more then happy too.

Omg how beutiful is this place? Surprising just how many beutiful places their are not too far from home. Rivington Pike with a walk around the Japanese and Italian lakes then the Liverpool Castle. Who thought their would be a castle near Bolton

I'm so proud of myself. Since I started going in walks and hikes back end of 2020 iv gone a totally distance of approx 78miles wow im very impressed and in 2021 alone iv done approx 47miles

Wanted visit this place for ages since seeing as it's a popular place. The route I did was 4.8 miles so not the longest walk/hike a bit of a mixture of terrain from road, muddy fields, brick paths etc
Glad it didn't rain. Was abit windy tho. Beutiful views all in all

A lovely walk today whilst i was waiting for a friend. First time iv been here. Wasn't much to see but the walk was good. Very muddy in certain areas but a thats expected on this kind of walk

MAM TOR GREAT RIDGE PATH CLOSED FROM MARCH - MAY 2021

Please note that the planned work on part of the Great Ridge path, approximately 500m between Hollins Cross and Back Tor, is due to start in late March 2021. The footpath will be closed for the duration of the restoration work, due to finish in May 2021. During this time, the bridleway running just below the ridge line, parallel to the Great Ridge, will remain open to offer an alternative route.

This essential work is being undertaken to help reduce the impact of erosion and to safeguard the landscape along this popular walking route.
