Congratulations to our team who competed in the So Kyokushin championships at the weekend ,in Wales .
Some fresh faces out for the first time on the bigger stage . We came home with four new champions,two vice champions and one third place ,and again a 100% return for their efforts, and bags of experience gained.

Thank you to Sensei Phill Sedgmond and Shihan Mac Robertson and So Kyokushin Uk for inviting our dojo to take part in their championships and for putting on another great event .
We look forward to seeing you all again soon .Osu!

Huge thanks to our parents and supporters of the dojo who made the trip to Wales to support our team on the day!
It really is appreciated,without your support we couldn't get the team to these events.

Tonight we had an invitation to attend the soft opening of Ashfords newest authentic restaurant,Biryanis and more...!
The food was Absolutely delicious ,service was impeccable to go with the fanatic atmosphere .
The official opening date of this great ne resturant is Saturday 30th July 2026
I would highly recommend a visit and wish you well in your new venture.

What a great day for beach training today, started off a little cloudy but the sun soon got to work to clear the sky, making it a lovely warm and sunny day.

3 hours of training with like minded Karateka and towards the end we had members of the public joining in ,whilst on a trip from London.
Thank you to Shihan Mark from Folkestone Kyokushinkai Jutsu Sensei Roland and Senpai Victor along with your students from Phoenix Kyokushin Karate for supporting us today.
It was a pleasure seeing you again at our annual trip to the beach.

Less than a week to go until our next beach training.
Open to all kyokushin groups ,whatever affiliation you are.
Great day for getting together to train and proving we are all one kyokushin and how strong our style is in Kent .

Please bring a towel ,refreshments and most importantly wear swimmers under your gi as there is a very high possibility we will be getting wet!

We will finish off with our tug of war challenge ,then have time to socialise afterwards.

10am start ,Sunny sands beach Folkestone

Its almost that time again .
We are holding our first beach training for a couple of years at our usual venue at Folkestone.
Saturday 18th July 10am start...
Open to all kyokushin groups
High tide doesn't appear to be until after 3pm so we can have a good couple of hours training then fun,games and socialising afterwards before the tide is fully in before we have to retreat from the beach.
