I actually qualified as a Personal Trainer back in 2018.
At the time I thought it might lead to a change of career, but life had other plans. Things changed at Cisco, I found myself really enjoying my job again, and I also lost my mum.
So I stayed in the corporate world, and fitness remained something I loved rather than something I did for a living.
Then in December 2024, after 23 years, I was made redundant.
It was scary, but it also gave me the chance to really think about what I wanted to do next.
I knew I wanted to do something where I could make a difference.
And that PT qualification I’d done all those years ago suddenly felt like something I wanted to come back to.
So I went for it. 💗
And the more I’ve learnt since, the more passionate I’ve become about helping mums cut through all the noise around fitness and nutrition.
Because we’re constantly being told to eat less, cut things out, exercise more, lose weight, buy this supplement, avoid that food…
It really doesn’t need to be that complicated.
I want to help mums get stronger, feel healthier, understand what actually matters (and what not to believe!) and make some time for themselves too.
And that’s really why Bloom exists. 🌸
The path here wasn’t particularly straightforward, but I’m very glad it led me here.
If you’re a mum trying to cut through all the noise and just want to feel stronger, healthier and more like yourself again - you’re in the right place. 💗
And if you’d like some help getting there, send me a message. I’d love to chat.
