We say a sad farewell to the Wheeler family, who have been swimming with us for over 13 years with their wonderful children Amelia, Caleb and Elliott! Following Elliott’s graduation from Swim Academy Level 6, we wish them all the very best and will miss seeing them each week very much!
Thank you for being an amazing family to teach. Amelia, Caleb and Elliott have always tried their hardest and have all blossomed from tiny babies to mature, kind, caring children swimming beautifully in Swim Academy.
We are so proud of the progress you have all made and would like to express a special thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Wheeler for your unwavering support. You are wonderful, supportive parents and your children are a true credit to you.

“Good Evening,
I am writing to confirm that my son Elliott Wheeler successfully completed Swim Academy Level 6 this afternoon.
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone at Puddle Ducks.
We first began our Puddle Ducks journey when Amelia was just 8 weeks of age, this was over 13 years ago now and what a journey it has been!
Caleb and Elliott have followed over the years in their sister's footsteps and we have watched with pride and awe as our little fishes have grown in confidence, developed a love of water and some beautiful strokes. Not to forget the important elements of water safety ensuring that our children will know how to keep themselves safe as they move through their life. More than just swimming, they have grown in confidence, fitness and learnt to respect the water.
There have been many teachers over the years, all with the same enthusiasm for teaching and shaping little ones into beautiful swimmers.
However there are a few that really need a mention:
Jenna - from the beginning to the end of our Swim Academy journey Jenna has been there at every stage with us. Her kindness, support and patience has been phenomenal. It would be fair to say that Elliott was a somewhat reluctant pupil at times but Jenna was amazing at working out what Elliott needed whether it was choosing what colour woggle he wanted or just standing at the end of the pool. There were times when I thought we would never get out of Level 1 but with Jenna's encouragement Elliott has flourished. Times were sometimes really tough and Elliott was really challenging but Jenna never stopped talking to him, encouraging him and just being there for when he was ready which eventually he always would be. Amelia and Caleb have also benefitted from Jenna's amazing support and teaching.
Adam - Elliott only had Adam as a teacher for a short while but he made a huge impact with him, encouraging him, talking to him 1:1, giving him time to work through whatever it was that he needed to and always letting him know that he was there whenever Elliott was ready. In later lessons when covering Level 5/6 with all my children, I loved how Adam would make sure he spoke to each child in the class giving them a personal pointer on how to develop whatever stroke or skill they had been practising. Making all of them feel seen, heard and special.
Kim - I love how Kim would keep Elliott in check. She instilled real discipline in him but at the same time was so kind and supportive. I loved how she would make him swim so many lengths, building his strength and stamina, making him realise he really could do it.
As our journey ends with you, a new chapter begins for Amelia, Caleb and Elliott. We cannot thank you enough for all that you have given us the over the years. You are all amazing and we will miss you all 🙂
