This Wednesday just gone, we travelled up to Medway.
We knew this was going to be one of the tougher fixtures in the calendar as they are fighting for top spot in the league table.
1st game on was Jason Wilson. He found himself 2 legs down. He checked out 87 in leg 3 for a 18 darter. Missing darts a doubles to make it 2-2.
Loosing the leg. He missed darts in leg 5 aswell.
Loosing the game 4-1 with a 23.77 average.
2nd game on was John Glendinning. He lost the first leg. His opponent having a 15 darter. He won leg 2 in 18 darts. He lost leg 3. Won legs 4 and 5.
His opponent won leg 6 to take it to a decider.
He had a 16 dart leg to win the game 4-3, with a 22.70 average.
3rd game on was Doug Wallis. He went 3 legs down. He had chances in legs 2 and 3. He won leg 4 with a nice 92, 2 dart out shot. It wasn't to be loosing leg 5 and the game 4-1. with a 17.52 average.
4th game on was Sam Smith. Coming off the back of a great game the week before, He found himself 1-0 down. His opponent having a 15 dart leg.
He won leg 2 with a 15 dart leg of his own, and a great 107 out shot. He lost the next 2 legs, missing darts in leg 3. He went on to win the next 3 legs and the game 4-3. Hitting 2 180's in the game.
With a 27.81 average and another MOM performance. 2 in a row.
5th game on was Nathan Blandford. With the game at 2-2 it was looking good. He won the first leg, lost the next leg He dug in winning legs 3 and 4. He lost leg 5. He closed the game out in leg 6 with a great display of darts winning 4-2. with a 22.59 average.
Ashford being 3-2 up on the night. It was looking good for a draw at one of the top teams in the division
6th game on was Curtis Watts. Going 3 legs down straight away. He Started well in leg 4 with a 180 to start the leg, going onto win that leg. He had a great start to leg 5, missed doubles costing him the leg and the game, loosing 4-1 with a 23.62 average.
7th game on and locked at 3-3 on the night was Jack Keutenius. He came up against a very strong opponent. Going 2-0 down, He missed darts in leg 3. Loosing the game 4-0. His opponent having legs of 18,13 and 16 darts in the process.
Jack finished with a 25.21 average.
His opponent with a 29.90 average. Not much you can do against that.
8th game on was Pete Tomsett. He won the first leg with a great 110 checkout. He struggled in parts of the game to find his scoring. Loosing the next 4 legs and the game 4-1 with a 21.58 average.

It was a great night of darts. The Medway team are top lads, food was good.
After that game we are sitting 6th in the league table.
Next week we welcome the Nomads to the Albion. With them just below us in the table. Also them have a game in hand, we definitely need a good result.
