Ashby Rugby Football Club Ashby RFC provides access to rugby for experienced and novice players alike.

Our Minis, Juniors and Girls Section offer fantastic age grade experiences for our younger players, whilst our Senior Section provides full contact and touch rugby games.

🩵🏉🩵 RUGBY MEMORIAL FUNDAY 🩵🏉🩵

We would like to thank everyone that came to support this event on Saturday, in memory of Rich Worley🙏

As some of you will know, we sadly said goodbye to one of our own coaches during last season, which was a devastating loss for the club and family🩵

In honour of his life, and his time & dedication to the club, we did what we do best...pulled together as 'one club's and held a fantastic event in aid of Rich, and to raise money for the Looseheadz Charity 🙌

We had T1 tournaments 🏉, raffles, cake sales 🎂, Street food from Edith James Caters🍔, DJ Luca into the night🎧, and lots of reminiscing throughout the day🍺

With the help of our amazing volunteers, parents & players, together we raised an incredible £1300 💪 with donations still coming in.

We felt that this needs to be an annual event, so SAVE THE DATE for Sunday 13th June 2027 📅 and let's do it all again next year 🥳

We can't leave the post without thanking Rich's family for allowing us to host the event in his honour, and continuing to be part of the Ashby Rugby Family 🩵💜🩵

🧑‍🔧🙌MAINTENANCE WEEKEND UPDATE🙌🧑‍🔧

Last weekend proved that teamwork certainly does bring a club together💪 so we would like to say a huge huge thank you to all those that helped over the maintenance weekend.

Going into it there was a long list that we thought would be unachievable, or take a few people a lot of blood sweat and tears🥵 However, with the volumes of people that contributed their valuable time we got through pretty much the whole list. It was fantastic to see so many people taking an active interest in the upkeep of their club. Whether it was for 2 hours or 2 days, everyone made an impact, and he club is looking the best it has done thanks to everyone's hard work 🙏🥳

Thank you also to those working behind the scenes also with buying bits and keeping us all fed and watered with the presidents Peroni! 🍔🍺

Just a gentle reminder that it's our maintenance weekend and we're looking for as many volunteers as possible to lend a hand.

There's plenty to do around the club, so whether you can spare an hour or a full day, your help would be hugely appreciated.

Great turnout from our senior men’s, colts and ladies sections — especially a record showing from the ladies in their first full season.

We had a speech from Neil Back, a magician, an auction, and plenty of dancing to finish the night.

Well done to all award winners 👏 and thanks to everyone who came along and made it a great evening.
