⚔️ Another game, another win and another strong comeback! 💪

🙌🏻 After a slow start, being 1-0 down after the first two innings, we finished strongly and beat Tigers 15-1.

🖤💛 It was a great day in the field, restricting a good Tigers side to just 1 run.

👏 Well played everybody and thank you to Tigers for a great game. Another game unbeaten, which now leaves us 6-0 for the season, with just one more game of this half to go.

😍 What a comeback! What a team! What a win!

💪 From 11-6 down, at the top of the 5th innings, Knights came back to win 16-15. It was a really tough game against a really good side but we showed heart and resilience to get our 5th win in a row and keep up our perfect start to the season.

💪 A great Sunday for Knights, as we beat Uni of Nottingham Arrows 23-2, after 4 innings, before beating Leicester Royals 41-10, after 4 innings.

🔥 We managed to avoid the thunder and lightning, as Knights brought the fire with two incredible team performances.

🙌🏻 Thanks to Arrows and Royals for two great games and well played everybody.

Welcome to Ashby Knights Softball Club!

We are a new softball team who will be competing in the East Midlands Softball League in Spring 2024.

Slow pitch softball is a mixed sport played by 5 men and 5 women.

The rules are similar to Baseball however the pitching is underarm.

Our games will be played at West Park in Long Eaton as this where the league play. We will be looking at hosting games in Ashby in the future.

It is a great sport to get into especially if you have history playing cricket or rounders or if you enjoy being part of a sports team.
