At Horizon Adventure Breaks, we provide short-term, high-quality adventure
placements for children and young people who need a safe, nurturing and
engaging environment. Whether they're facing a crisis, in need of respite or
simply requiring a break in a supportive setting, our programme offers
structure, adventure and stability. We specialise in 28-day activity-based placements that combine outdoo

model blends high-energy outdoor pursuits with compassionate,
trauma-informed support, helping young people to build confidence, develop
resilience and feel empowered.

We’re looking for caring, motivated people to join our team as Adventure Child Support Workers. Experience is welcome but not essential (full training is provided).

Horizon Adventure Breaks provides short-term activity placements for young people living in foster care or residential care, combining therapeutic support with outdoor activities and daily structure.

All licensable activities are currently delivered through approved third-party providers while we work towards our own AALA licence.

Role details:
£16 per hour
24-hour shifts (10am–10am) with paid sleep-in
Flexible shifts (choose the days that suit you!)
Full-time and part-time roles

On our days off we like to enjoy our own adventures. We spend a lot of time keeping our own skills sharp, staying connected to the environments we work in, and reflecting on what genuinely helps people grow.
