The countdown is on for our next Ariat Hunter Trial Qualifier, taking place on Sunday 5th July!

The ground is looking great, thanks to the rainfall we received at the start of June and May, along with the hard work of our ground team, who have been cultivating and harrowing the courses to ensure everything is in top condition for the event.

Join us at Eland Lodge Equestrian for a fun, confidence-building Clear Round Cross Country day.

This relaxed, non-competitive event runs over the BE Standard XC course and is ideal for:
• Young or inexperienced horses
• Riders building confidence
• Anyone looking to step up a level in a supportive setting

You’ll be able to ride a full XC course with flexible fence options at each complex, choosing between 50cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm, or 1m. The “pick ‘n’ mix” format means you can tailor the height to suit you and your horse throughout the course.

A great opportunity to school cross country in a safe, encouraging environment.

New XC Warm-Up Take-Offs & Landings

Jack, Eland Lodge's Course Manager, gives us an insight into the latest improvements to our cross-country warm-up area.

We've reworked the take-off and landing zones, adding a stone foundation and sand take-off areas to create a more consistent, reliable surface for both riders and horses.

These upgrades will help provide better footing and confidence as competitors prepare for their cross-country rounds.

Important Notice!

Due to the current weather conditions and the ongoing heatwave, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this week's evening show jumping sessions.

To provide an alternative, the arena will be available for hire on Tuesday and Wednesday outside of our usual operating hours, with bookings available until 9:00 pm.

If you would like to reserve the arena, please contact us directly.

All existing entries will automatically be transferred to next week's evening show jumping unless you advise us otherwise.

We do not make these decisions lightly, and the welfare of both horses and riders remains our priority. We appreciate your understanding and support.
