Last night the bowls club welcomed “Quaffers” group for an evening of bowls and a BBQ. Hope you enjoyed the warm evening and good food.

A huge thank you to all who attended last nights Doveridge Bowls Club Quiz Night at the village club. In particular our quiz master Alan Speed. Raffle ticket seller Pete. Counters Edd and Elizabeth. And winners “Kiss my Jack”. We raised £260 for the club funds which will go towards keeping our Green in perfect condition.

Excellent afternoon of bowls for our Barry Brookes Doubles competition. Weather was kind and bowling was superb. Well done to those who reached the finals Nial Birnie & Sue Bloor who will play Ed Wills & Wendy Morley in August. The day was rounded off with a social BBQ and some yummy cakes. Thanks to everyone who organised the day

Our next club fundraiser will be a QUIZ NIGHT at Doveridge village club on Friday 26th June 2026 with Quiz master Alan Speed ready to test your knowledge.

£20 per team (£5 per quizzer)

Teams of 4 maximum (We can team up those who are on their own with other quizzers)

Please NOTE! We are not providing food at this event so bring along your own snacks for the break

7.30pm start time

The room at the club can cater for 11 tables of 4 so get in early to avoid disappointment.
