One of the very first wild camps we did was in Dovedale.

We set off late in the evening with the intention of sleeping in Thor's Cave. Due to the terrain in the cave it was difficult for three of us to set up camp in there, so we walked by torchlight to the nearest spot that was suitable to set up a tarp.

An hour or so later we set up camp and got the fire going.

Sometimes you have to improvise and be prepared to change your plans slightly.

It was winter but with the right kit and the right mindset it ended up being a great camp.

There's always something magical about a fire that you can get lost in. Casting a spell of nostalgia that reaches back through the ages, it's primal energy echoing the hearths of civilizations long past. The fire's flickering light somehow seems to draw from the depths of history. The scent of burning wood carries echoes of ancient rituals, stirring the senses with a timeless connection to the past, beckoning one to lose themselves in the timeless embrace of its warmth.

Picture this: sleeping under a canopy of stars, completely immersed in nature! Cooking on an open fire and learning new skills. Far detached from the hustle and bustle of everyday life whilst connecting to self and others through nature and bushcraft.

Well that's exactly what we did and delivered on our latest wild camping experience.

Very soon, we'll be launching this to the public and running this and other wild camping events. So you, too, can unplug and reconnect, find some stress relief or have that mini adventure you've been longing for. There's the physical and emotional benefits too or just that connection and bonding time with others you've been missing!
