Bart's Bash 2025 at Carsington Sailing Club!
We had a great turnout for our Bart's Bash race and Commodores cup this year, despite some low water challenges!
Our entry fees are donated to Andrew Simpson Foundation : The Sailing Charity to help enable more young people get into the amazing world of sailing.

What a spectacular Open Day!

We welcomed over 300 people through our gates and saw roughly 225 people on the water (and that’s just non-members!).

From sailing, winging, windsurfing, paddle boarding and keelboating to shore games, face painting and live music. The whole club was buzzing with energy!

What’s on this time next week?

Carsington Sailing Club Open Day Summer Splash!

We will be having lots on, sailing, keelboating, windsurfing and paddle boarding tasters for club members and non club members. Live music from FFRED, a pizza and a burger van. Shore games (with prizes). The Cardboard Boat competition (our supply of cardboard is going fast some come and grab some while you can!). GP Sail Sprint Races for our small boat sailors. A tombola and a raffle with local prizes!

Plus if you come to see our membership desk, we have Open Day discounts on membership!!

We really hope to see you all there to celebrate our amazing sailing club!

18 days to go!! We are so excited for our Open Day!

Join the Carsington team on Sunday 20th July for a fun-filled day on and off the water, with Sailing, Winging, and Keelboat taster sessions running throughout the day. On shore, enjoy carnival-style games, delicious food stalls, a fully stocked bar, and a sizzling BBQ.

It’s a great chance to meet the friendly team and members, learn about our membership options, discover our sailability charities, and explore the companies we partner with. Whether you're a seasoned sailor, think you would never be able to sail or simply just curious about getting on the water, there’s something for everyone—come and be part of the summer splash!

Carsington Sailing Club is putting on a fantastic festival of sailing!!

Come and have a go at sailing, paddle boarding, windsurfing and more! There will be food stalls, bar & live music, magicians show, and lots of on shore games!

What a weekend!!!

This weekend we welcomed 41 sailors for our K1 Inland Championships and CSC Javelin Open!

Day one was a test of patience with swirling and light wind, but day two brought some steady consistent breezes!

Thank you so much to our Organisers, Race, Mark Laying and Safety Teams for making the weekend happen so smoothly!

Happy Earth Day!

This morning on Earth Day Carsington Water showed some beautiful scenes.

We are very lucky to enjoy nature's wonderful displays, let's keep working together to protect our waters, winds and wildlife.

Happy Easter weekend!
At Carsington Sailing Club we had such a busy but fun Easter weekend!!
We had our Youth Easter Multi-Activities which were spectacular even despite some bad weather days! Lots of sailing and paddle boarding and even some Easter Egg Hunts!
On Saturday many signed on to our Easter Sprints, the race team set a challenging mixed course and two fleets of fast and slow showed some competitive but fun racing!
We were open on Easter Bank holiday but unfortunately a lot of rain meant no one wanted to sail.
