Shawfield Stadium - Clyde FC

Shawfield stadium, Rutherglen, Glasgow,Scotland.

Former home of Clyde FC, had a record crowd of 48,000 in 1912 for a game against Rangers. Ceased to host football in 1986, has been used for speedway and greyhound racing up until it closed altogether in 2020 I believe? The owner of the stadium passed away in 2022 which left any future plans for the stadium up in the air. It's been abandoned completely ever since and to this day I'm unaware of what the plans are for it other than likely demolition at some point?

I'm sure someone with some more local expertise on the subject can fill in any blanks to the above info.

final game of regular National League Season.

Stadium - Huish Park Stadium
Capacity - 9,565 (of which two stands are all-seated, totalling 5,212 seats) with terraces behind each of the goals

Tony Says “First time at this ground , lovely ground with some great stands and some great Floodlights too !!!“

The North stand at Villa Park is being knocked down and replaced.

What an iconic stand and part of footballing history.

Heath Hayes FC

Today I visited a lost Ground.
Heath Hayes FC,
Based near Cannock Staffordshire between 2 other local football clubs. Hednesford Town FC and Chasetown FC.

Defunct Coppice Colliery Ground
Capacity- Approx 1,000
Founded - 1965
Dissolved - 2023 after losing control of their ground.

They played in the Midlands league Premier division.

Interesting fact- the floodlights are from Hednesford's old Cross keys ground.
