Do I need to do cardio to loose weight??
The short answer is no!!! If you’re trying to lose body fat then the best advice I can offer is to be in calorie deficit, although hiit training will burn calories the amount of energy you consume during that workout will have to be replenished by food.
We don’t need to come out of the gym half dead to get results. Ask yourself this question?? Is this sustainable for a long period of time and the majority will say no!!
That’s why many join a program and tail off after a few weeks/months. We then go full circle and come back to where we started not achieving our goals.
I’m not saying don’t do cardio, it’s a great way to release endorphins and increase fitness levels, but if our aim is to lose body fat then we need to look at what we are consuming on a day to day basis.
