Six speed (3 speed Sturmey Archer hub - silver) combined with a two speed derailleur - 13/16T sprockets

In our previous episode we upped the gearing from 50T to 54T to give a higher range

We're looking for any competetive advantage!

SPD pedals should allow for more power - by pulling as well as pushing the pedals

We chose crankbrothers Double Shot - not because it sounds like our favourite drink (hint - coffee) but because they are double sided, one side is for SPD cleated shoes and the other side can be used with normal footwear - handy when riding to work / the shops
