Arundel Lawn Tennis Club Arundel Lawn Tennis Club is situated at the foot of Arundel Castle. We have 3 hard courts (2 pickleball) in picturesque surroundings.

We are a friendly & inclusive club, welcoming new members of all ages & standards. We have a coaching programme. We are a very friendly club who can offer tennis of all standards. We play in the Wilson Sanford League and have a men’s and ladies team. For membership queries please contact our membership secretary using the messaging tab.

🎾 COURT REFURBISHMENT UPDATE WEEK 2! 👏🏻🌞

Here is your weekly update on the ALTC court refurbishment project, and let’s just say… the progress this week has been massive. 🙌 We are officially on target and moving fast!

Here’s what’s been happening behind the scenes:

✨ All-new edgings have been fully fitted.

📏 Court 3 has been officially extended to LTA standard specification—and it looks absolutely amazing!

💧 All drainage works across the courts are now 100% complete.

What’s next? Up next, the crew is diving into the fencing and installing the brand-new gates. After that, we move into the first stage of putting in the new sockets, followed by next week's big prep for laying down the fresh asphalt! 🏗️ Get excited guys because we are getting closer to being back on court every single day.

A fantastic and full coaching session tonight! 👏🏻🎾✨

A big thanks first has to go to for allowing us some courts for the evening whilst ours are closed. It's really amazing to be able to keep up some of our sessions whilst the refurbishment project is in full swing at ALTC.

Seconds thanks to Kevin for putting us all through our paces and reminding us that focusing on our footwork can make all the difference. 👟👌🏻

🎾 COURT REFURBISHMENT UPDATE! 🌧️💪

Week 1

The weather has been absolutely awful, but the team at ETC have cracked on regardless! Here is what’s been happening behind the scenes so far to get our courts back in top-tier shape:

- Deep Clean: All courts have had a high-pressure wash to blast away loose dirt and stubborn moss. 🧼

- Drainage Upgrade: Holes have been pierced down to the sub-base at 450mm centres—say goodbye to standing water! 🕳️💧

- Edging Prep: Existing perimeter edgings have been cut so the brand-new surface can be feathered down perfectly. 📐

- Site Access: Some fencing has been temporarily taken down to make room for the heavy machinery. 🚧

- Debris Cleared: Two full skips of debris are already gone, filled with old post fittings, anchors, and old edgings. 🚛

- Materials Arrived: Numerous deliveries have landed on-site, meaning we are fully prepped and ready for the main building work to commence! 🏗️

A massive shout out to the crew for pushing through the rain. We are one step closer to some incredible new courts! ⏳👏

Another victory for the ladies team today, just down the road at Howard Tennis Club in Littlehampton, 3 - 1 to us!

With a few championship tie breaks, all players earned a good rest this afternoon.

Great to come home with another win for Arundel. Let's hope it continues, well done gang. 💪🏻

As our own courts are getting a major glow-up, this lovely group are taking their talents on the road! Huge thanks to for letting some of our players crash your courts while ours get refurbished.

Not only is it wonderful that our players can carry on playing, it's humbling to be the recipients of such generosity in the surrounding tennis community. 🥰
