JKS Arrochar and JKS Clyde are honoured to be hosting Daisuke Watanabe Sensei (5th Dan JKS Honbu Dojo Instructor) for a second time. Watanabe Sensei s a highly decorated international competitor who is well known for his exceptional Kumite skills and dynamic coaching:

JKS World Champion (multiple titles for individual/team)
JKS Japan Kumite Chamipion (5x)
East Asia Champion
All Japan Kumite Champion (2017)
Premier League Gold Medalist (-75kg in Okinawa and Australia)
6pm - 7pm : all grades

7pm - 8m : green belt and above

8-9pm : brown belt and above

Well done to all JKS Arrochar students that attended and smashed the gradings at the Honbu Dojo (JKS SCOTLAND HQ) in Dunfermline, yesterday.

Congratulations to you all but, I must give a special mention to Michelle Mundie for achieving the rank of Shodan (Black Belt). Well deserved and well earned. Nobody can deny the hardwork you had put into this. It was lovely to hear the kind words that Paul Giannandrea said to you afterwards as well. I cannot wait to watch you develop further.

I must also say a huge thank you to Tara Singh and Daniel Singh for all their hardwork and dedication getting everyone ready. Their constant support to me and all you club members, is truly inspiring. As a dojo we are truly blessed to have them.

Grading days are so special as we all get to observe the fruits of our labours. You have no idea how much you all inspire and motivate me.
