Looking for ideas when planning your 2026 races?

Our race diary includes details of local races as well as county and national events Redhill members can enter for free through their club membership including:

It also contains details of races which make up our own Grand Prix Series for Redhill members.

🏃‍♂️ Newstead Abbey Dash 2025 – Transfer Window Now Announced 🏃‍♀️

We are proud to be the organisers of the Newstead Abbey Dash, which this year also incorporates the Notts AAA 5km County Championship.

The race, taking place in the stunning grounds of Newstead Abbey on Friday 25th July 2025, has now sold out.

However, Seasons Best have agreed with the Race Director to open a Transfer Window for anyone who can no longer run and wishes to transfer their place.

🗓️ Transfer Window Dates:
Opens: Tuesday 1st July 2025
Closes: Midnight, Sunday 6th July 2025

Interested in joining a local running club?

If you’re new to Redhill Road Runners and would like to find out more, we meet every Monday and Wednesday evening at 6.00 pm in the Young People’s Centre at Redhill Leisure Centre. We head out for our group runs at 6.10 pm.

During the summer months, our routes take us through Bestwood Country Park and the surrounding area, making the most of the lighter evenings and local scenery.

New runners are always welcome. There’s no need to contact us in advance – simply come along on a club night and speak to one of our coaches or run leaders. They’ll help place you in a suitable group based on your pace and experience.

We currently run in the following pace groups:
Group A: sub 8 min/mile
Group B: 8–9 min/mile
Group C: 9–10 min/mile
Group D: 10–11.5 min/mile
Group E: 11.5 min/mile and above

Details of each week’s sessions are shared in our private Facebook group, which is accessible to current, paid-up members of the club.

Please note: whilst sessions are typically led by qualified run leaders, all runners participate at their own risk.
