We are deeply saddened by the passing of Eithna Vallely, esteemed director of Armagh pipers club.

Many of our swimmers down the years were proud members of the Armagh pipers club and will have very fond memories of Eithna.

May she rest in peace.

Deepest condolences to her husband Brian and all the Vallely family.

*Long course Nationals update 2026*

So proud of our 5 LC swimmers this year!

Our Medley relay team of AnnaJo, Isabella, Cillian and Rokas got the meet started with an excellent performance in the medley relay. For all 4 it was their first ever swim on a national stage! Many more swims to come in the future - well done!!

Individually:
Sean McC swam in 2 events: the 100 and 50 Breast, producing an amazing swim in the 50 to knock over a second off his entry time!

Rokus had a great swim in his first ever nationals, also in the 50 Breast. No doubt this will be the first of many swims for him in national finals!

Isabella swam also in the 50 breast. She knocked nearly 0.5s off her entry time, beat the 40s mark and narrowly missed out on progressing to a final!

It was a year of 50m Breast stroke!

We are so proud of the 6 national competing swimmers this year. Great role models for our younger swimmers, and also showing us all that if you are willing to work hard, improve your skill, keep honing your craft, you can achieve and exceed your goals! Well done all!

We are looking forward to starting a new year of swimming in September … see you all soon!

Today, our Armagh Aquasprint representatives headed to Parliament Buildings to help celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Forest Feast Aquasprint Junior Swimming League.

Forty years of fast racing, team cheers, and building the future of Ulster swimming! We are so proud to be part of this incredible league history.

Thank you to and for hosting a brilliant celebration today 🙌🏊‍♂️
