To clear the confusion.

Due to a double booking our AGM is now on the 20th at 8pm in the Porty, the team registration will take place first between 7pm and 7:45pm ( as normal procedure).
If your forms and fees are not in by 7:45pm on the 20th then the team will not be included in the coming season.

And to clear even more confusion up…
What was presumed as common knowledge …. As per the year 19 oatcake, team registration sheets have always been available to collect at the finals night, and then later they go to a pub ( which has been the spiders for several years now) this year they were even available at the dance if anyone had asked about them.

So if anyone needs a form and hasn’t got one then they are in spiders in the lounge side where the bar lifts up.

AGM info.

Please note that the ladies team registration and AGM will no longer be held on the 13th of this month in the Porty due to the Angus AGM also being held on that date and in the venue.
We have ladies that are on the Angus committee and therefore cannot be in two places at once.

We will get back to you all when we can arrange another date to suit.

🎯🎯🏆🏆🏆🎯🎯🎯Afternoon ladies.

Can I ask everyone that attended the dance last night to check if you have picked up a carrier bag with two boxed trophies for the rams team in them. If so please hand I to the spiders so I can get them back to the correct owners.

Also thanks to everyone that attended for making it another successful trophy dance, thanks also to the DJ for his great entertainment and the Abbey Bowling Club for their hospitality and allowing us to use their venue.

Darts presentation and Dance info.

Presentation is this coming Saturday 27th June at the Abbey Bowling Club.

It’s pay on the door for entry rather than tickets.

Sam will be on the door to collect entry fee of £4 each. Please bring cash only for this as we don’t deal with bank cards 😜.

Susan Spence will be also on the door selling the raffle tickets, so please grab them when you arrive, and also please bring something for a raffle prize, the more prizes the merrier.

Doors officially open 7:30. Presentation to hopefully begin by 8pm and then it’s party party party till close of the club.

Let’s make it a good night. And remember NO shenanigans on the bowling greens.

🎯🎯🎯Division 1 Decider 🎯🎯🎯

The Division 1 decider was played last night at the Porty, with Shotz coming out as the victors by 7-2 over the Commercial.

Well done to both teams for their efforts and thanks to the Porty for providing food for half time.

Reminder finals night is on Thursday 30th April 8pm start (raffle prizes welcome).

And reminder that all trophies are to be cleaned and handed back into spiders web by 30th April for committee to collect for engraving etc.

Well done to all teams tonight and thanks to the two venues: Station and the Fab Bar for hosting and providing half time food.

The Division 1 title will be decided on the 16th April @ the Porty

For all 3 finals, the home team will be decided on the night by asking the bar staff select whose heads or tails then carrying out a coin toss.
