Arbroath Muay Thai is a not for profit club and was established in the year of 2000 as part of the Phraya Pichai Muay Thai Camps International. Muay Thai, which translates to “Thai Boxing”, is the national sport of Thailand. It is a martial art which is great for mental health, fitness and self protection. Muay Thai is known as the “Art of 8 limbs” because it makes use of 8 points of contact namel

y, punches, elbows, knees and kicks. Today, Muay Thai is practised and competed not only in Thailand, but also all around the world. We provide Muay Thai classes and individual personal training sessions. We have also created valuable partnerships working with community groups and clubs delivering Muay Thai sessions to provide support to children and vulnerable adults through training and mentorship. Our aim in delivering these sessions is to provide self protection and defence techniques, combat social isolation, build confidence, reduce stress, teach valuable life skills and foster a sense of community. Come along and join us, get fit lose weight and boost your mental health alongside our Chief Instructor Colin Elliot and Instructors Denise Hudson and Stephen Cronan.

Arbroath Thai boxing club will be having open mat sessions in April days and times to be decided what is a open mat session it’s what you want to do there is no class structure you can work on the punch bags spar work on your clinch train a technique ect

Club reopens Tuesday the 9th open to16+ first lesson free at breaking point gym 8-9 pm all equipment you need is in the gym but if you have some Xmas money still to spend we have gloves- Thai pads focus mitts- shin guards and 2.5 and 5mtr hand wraps for sale
