We’re looking for a second Community Sport Hubs Co-ordinator to help inspire healthy, active and creative lifestyle choices across Angus.

This role is all about people - supporting local communities to connect, thrive and get involved through sport and physical activity.

A great opportunity...!

We are delighted to have been awarded funding from sportscotland to support Participation by Women and Girls in our Coach & Instructor Qualification Courses.

Our primary goal is to increase the number of qualified female coaches & instructors in Scottish Snowsports by:

● Enhancing female representation in coaching & instructing roles.

● Reducing financial obstacles for women & girls pursuing coach education.

● Addressing logistical challenges which often hinder participation.

Women remain underrepresented in Snowsport coaching roles, limiting opportunities for both themselves and the future generation of female athletes who benefit from having role models and mentors. Financial barriers often prevent women from pursuing these qualifications. By providing targeted financial assistance, we aim to empower more women to join and develop within the Snowsports workforce, leading to a more inclusive and diverse coaching community.

Fantastic to hear that out friends at Polmonthill Snowsports Club are back up and running! Lessons will restart soon, so another alternative until RM Condor is repaired. Polmonthill is just off the M9 near Falkirk.

Previously run by Falkirk Council, a community group has been set up, and a community asset transfer is progressing, after Falkirk Council decided to close a number of leisure facilities in the authority due to budget cuts.

Well done to everyone involved in saving the centre!!

WE'RE RECRUITING

With blue skies overhead it's hard to think past enjoying the next few days and what could be the last of summer,

On a positive side 😁 (for those of us who like the snow!) we've seen the first dusting on the high tops, temperatures have dropped below zero, rowan trees are full of berries and the leaves are starting to turn so autumn and winter aren't too far away ❄⛷🏂❄. Our maintenance team have been busy over the summer and pre-season works are nearly completed, ready for what as always we hope will be a bumper season.

It takes a lot of staff to help run Scotland's biggest ski area, and as we prepare for the coming winter we are looking to recruit seasonal workers for the snowsports season 24/25,

Ski Hire
Café
Lift Operators
