Gentle reminder to my customers

Only the first saddle check up after purchasing a saddle is free.

Any further adjustments are my standard saddle fitting charge of £100 paid on the day.

In order to get the correct adjustment- there is an expectation you would ride in the saddle on the day you've booked, to ensure we have got a good fit. Please make sure you've got time when you book .

We are only a small business and i am having to chase customers following saddle fitting or there seems to be an expectation ill just come , adjust and change saddles for free, time and time again after purchase.
Customers with more than 1 saddle for a horse if you have dressage and jumping for example, will only be charged 1 fitting fee.

The price of fuel etc has all gone up to drive to you, as well as providing my time , wool flocking and swapping gullet bars to the correct one included in the price. Most other fitters will charge you for new gullets on top as you need , so i try to be really fair with customers and keep a large stock of gullets at my own cost.

Please note- horses body condition at this time of year are very changeable.

I can only advise that you check saddles and have them checked regularly particularly at this time of year and the height of summer.

What fits today , might not fit in 2 or 3 months with horses coming out of winter doing more work and changing shape with spring grass. Particularly young horses will take a growth spurt around this time.

This is the beauty of ikonic saddles being so changeable and the reason so many people are choosing them, but note some horses do require more adjustments more regularly than others, so it's not uncommon for a fitter to see a horse every couple of months during this time if in hard work and it isnt a reflection on the saddle or fit, every horse is different.

Remember ikonic saddles can be adjusted by any saddle fitter ,so if there is someone closer to you who you use regular and trust , then this is also an option and gullet bars can be purchased seperately.

New saddle trial days and new customer adjustments will still be charged £100 at the time of booking non refundable, £100 will be discounted off the saddle if one is purchased after trial. Ive had to implement this because of last minute cancellations less than 24 hours when ive taken time off and made arrangemnets to come to you.

Thanks to all my customers it is appreciated, and i hope you understand the reason for this post , As we get into busy season , i cant afford to have people cancel last minute , when i have a list of people to see and i dont have time to be chasing for payment on top of everything with shows etc . :)
