The Burghley Young Event Horse classes are designed to identify event horses of the future, assessing their potential through conformation, paces, jumping ability, and overall suitability for top-level sport. A fantastic opportunity for young horses to gain exposure in a world‑class setting.

Sunshine, focus, and proper work getting done ☀️🐎

Another valuable day with the European 3* Cup Eventing Programme, working alongside Kylie Roddy and David Sheerin.

All squad riders were put through their paces, with a real emphasis on developing quality flatwork and improving rider effectiveness. The detail matters at this level, and it was great to see combinations stepping up, refining the basics, and building towards what this programme is all about.

As we gear up for our first 2026 European 3* Squad training day, David Sheerin FBHS and Kylie Roddy FBHS will be on hand to guide, support and share their experience.

Both are passionate change makers in developing the next generation of event riders, creating the right environment for combinations to learn, ask questions, build confidence and take the step towards CCI3* level.

🎄🥂 Raise your glass this Christmas Day 🥂🎄

As we pause to celebrate with friends, family and horses who keep us grounded, we also want to raise a heartfelt glass to every single supporter of the European 3* Cup Championships this year.

From sponsors and partners, to owners, grooms, coaches, volunteers, officials and the quiet champions behind the scenes, this programme simply does not exist without you. Your belief, backing and shared ambition helped turn preparation into performance and dreams into medals.

2025 gave us moments we will never forget. Team Gold and Individual Silver and Bronze. But more than results, it was the collective spirit, professionalism and trust that defined this journey.

Applications OPEN for the 2026 to 2027 CCI3 Star European Cup Training Programme 🇬🇧

Following Team GBs outstanding success at the 2025 European Championships with Team Gold and Individual Silver and Bronze this two year pathway is designed to prepare up to 28 riders for the 2027 European Championships in Hungary.

The programme offers structured training and development in 2026 followed by a full championship preparation and selection year in 2027 with international team opportunity at the heart of it.

Coached by Kylie Roddy FBHS and David Sheerin FBHS and based at Wellington Riding this is a unique pathway for senior riders looking to step up to CCI3 Star team competition.

This programme is ideal for riders no longer eligible for youth squads or those who started eventing later and are now ready to target championship level sport.
