Tomorrow marks the start of the 26/27 season for our firsts in the West Lancs Div 2, taking on Thornton Cleveleys FC Reserves down at The Bridge. After plenty of pre-season hard work, the lads are hoping to make this all worthwhile with an opening 3 points to start their season.

CHAMPIONS! 🏆⚽

A huge congratulations to Appley Bridge U12s, crowned league champions in their very first full competitive season! 👏

After finishing joint top of the league, today’s playoff final was a true battle. The game finished 1-1 before Appley Bridge held their nerve to win 4-2 on penalties! 💪

An incredible season by the team:

✅ 3 draws
✅ 3 losses

A fantastic achievement and a brilliant way to finish a super season. Huge congratulations to all the players, coaches, and supporters — league champions! 🏆🙌

Pre-season training starts 9th June!

Training for both Open Age squads gets going on 9th June as we prepare for the 2026/27 season, kicking off on 1st August.

Both teams will be in the West Lancs League this coming season, with the Development Squad moving into the Reserve divisions - something we're all looking forward to.

We're looking for players to strengthen both squads.

If you fancy playing at Step 7 level with a club that's been going since 1908, drop us a message and we'll get you along to a session.

⚽ Appley Bridge U13s – New Players Wanted! ⚽

Our Under 13s are looking for 3 new players to join their friendly, low-to-mid level team. Whether your child is developing their skills or just wants to enjoy football in a supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Training takes place every Friday from 7–8pm at St Peter's High Scool, focusing on teamwork, confidence, and player development.
Bring them along, make new friends, and be part of a great squad.

Our U10s had a fantastic match against Hindley Juniors today. A fast-paced match with goals from both sides!
The boys continue to work hard every week and it is a pleasure to see their confidence growing.

Despite the poor weather some of our teams tied up their boots and got back on the pitch today, to kick off the new year ⚽️

Shout out to our youngest team, the under 7s, who faced two good games today.
Everyone worked hard and supported each other.

Parents player of the match Harry was awesome in goal, brave and saved everything.

Coaches player of the match Bobby also had a great game, ran his socks off and scored a great goal.

Well done to everyone today, and thank you to the coaches for their support.

Shout out to our u7s today who had a good game in bad weather conditions. Great to see how the players are improving and playing well as a team. They are creating more chances and will only continue to progress.

🎉⚽ What a Night! Our First Annual Sportsman's Dinner was a HUGE Success! ⚽🎉

We are absolutely delighted to report that our first annual Sportsman's Dinner event, held last night, at Gathurst Golf Club, was a resounding triumph! 🏆

It was truly fantastic to see so many from the club and the wider community come out to support the event and make it such a special night. The atmosphere was incredible, and we were thoroughly entertained all evening

A huge thanks to the one and only Jon Parkin for sharing his brilliant and hilarious football stories!
John Gillan kept us all on our toes with his comedy set.

The entire evening was expertly guided and MC'd by the excellent Jamie Sutherland!

A massive thank you to everyone who supported our raffle and auction. Because of your amazing generosity, we managed to raise some vital funds that will directly support the football club and help us achieve our goals this season!

None of this would have been possible without the tireless work, dedication, and superb planning of our First Team Manager, Ryan Craven. Ryan, your efforts were truly incredible so thank you 🙌
