Following the cancellation of the final event at Plymouth results are now final. There were 5 races in the series with 3 counting.

Congratulations to Alan Harris-Guerrero in his Blaze 848 winning with 2 second places at Wimbleball and Paignton and a 6th at the Wrecker at NDYC giving 10 points.

Second overall was Stacy Bray also of Porthpean also in a Blaze on 21 points counting an 8th, 11th and 2nd at Roadford.

In 3rd place one point behind was Chris Dyer of NDYC also in a Blaze with a second at the Beastie

Forth on count-back also on 22 points was Phil Bevan from Lyme in an ILCA

Finally in 5th place was Chris Jones sailing an Aero on 26 points overall having won the Beastie but counting a 19th at Castle Cove.

Can you all message me privately with your address and I will post out your Tee Shirts or for those of you coming to the Blaze Western Area Championship in NDYC we can hand over prizes then. (Can you advise sizes XL, L or M)

Well done all on a fun series and I look forward to announcing dates for next winter soon.

The results with only 1 round left are in. porthpean SC are out in front with Alan Harris Guerrero in first place with Stacy Bray holding 2nd from Chris Dyer from NDYC. All top 3 places are dominated by Blazes and an ILCA in 4th sailed by Phil Bevan

This weekend sees the Exmoor Beastie at Wimbleball Lake followed by the postponed Plymouth Pounder on SAT 28th March with the series Prize Giving to follow the event. Hope to see you all there.

Remember everyone the rya dinghy show this weekend.

With the loss of the Starcross Steamer due to weather the SW Challenge Trophy will be 2 races both counting for the Rocket and Beastie.

The event comprised 2 off 60minute pursuit races back to back. Many thanks to Roadford Lake Sailing Club who waved any entry fees (launching fees from SW Lakes still applied) and voluntary donations online and in cash for the MND Association raised £140. Thank you all so much for your support.

Sutton Bingham Icicle was cancelled due to lack of wind

Roadford Rocket is pending decision on Friday but we are hopeful that this will go ahead

1st March is Plymouth Pounder at Hooe Point SC

Porthpean SC is cancelled due to storm damage

Wimbleball Beastie is on 22nd March not as advertised on 29th
