In yesterday's game Appledore bounced back from last weeks defeat thanks to two goals in the last 15 minutes in a tight affair. Appledore took an early lead thanks to a strike from distance from Connell Baker who shone throughout the game, before Folkestone replied halfway through the first half. In a game lacking quality Appledore were able to get themselves back in front thanks to Sam Wood's cool finish despite his massive hangover. We then had several chances to seal the game but with some poor finishing the game was still in the balance before Sam J Davey rose highest from a corner to seal the 3 points.

In yesterday's game Appledore were beaten by Mersham Res who showed the better quality during the 90mins despite the efforts of the Cameron's with their goals. Mersham scoring and retaking the lead just before half time seemed to be a hammer blow to Appledore in a tight first half as we weren't able to recover after that.

In today's local derby Appledore prevailed against Woodchurch in a feisty derby. You could say the game revolved around Ben Pilcher who's clinical finishing put Appledore into a 2-0 lead before later seeing red. The 10 men were able to dig deep and see out the win and take the 3 points.
