“Joining your gym is the best thing I’ve done in a loooonnnggg time!!”

When Frank joined Gym Antrim 6 months ago, he was a complete beginner.

Fast forward to today and he’s training anywhere from 3-5 days per week. Not because he has to, but because he genuinely enjoys it.

Since joining, Frank has gone from someone just starting out to taking on two HYROX fitness races, continually pushing himself to new levels and proving what consistency can achieve.

He’s getting fitter, stronger, healthier and faster with every month that passes, and the best part is that there’s absolutely no sign of him slowing down.

We’re incredibly proud of everything Frank has achieved so far.

His journey is proof that you don’t need to be fit to start — you just need to start.

Keep smashing it, Frank! 💪

One of the best things about this event is that absolutely anyone can take part. Whether you’re new to fitness or a seasoned athlete, it’s designed for all abilities and the organisers do a fantastic job of keeping our gym teams together throughout the event, creating an incredible team atmosphere from start to finish.

Another fantastic event that just keeps getting bigger and better every year!

BLACKOUT 🖤

A massive well done to everyone who took part in Blackout this afternoon! For many of our crew, this was their very first event, and they absolutely smashed it.

Events like these are about pushing yourself outside your comfort zone, supporting those around you, and enjoying the experience and that’s exactly what everyone did today.

A fantastic event, great atmosphere, and even better people.

The vast majority of our members felt exactly the same before they walked through the doors of Gym Antrim.

Our community is made up of people from all walks of life. Busy parents, shift workers, retirees, complete beginners, experienced gym-goers, and everyone in between.

Nobody starts fit.

Nobody starts confident.

Nobody starts knowing everything.

That’s what we’re here for.

Our coaches will guide you every step of the way, helping you train safely, build confidence and create habits that actually fit around your lifestyle.

You don’t need to be able to lift heavy weights.

You don’t need to be in perfect shape.

You don’t need to know anyone.

You just need to start.

Today we want to wish our girls Tanya and Lauren the very best of luck as they step on stage at NIFMA this afternoon.

These two have been completely locked in since 1st January. Not a single cardio session missed. Not a single training session skipped. Every step target hit. Every nutrition plan followed.

The results speak for themselves.

Between them, Tanya and Lauren have lost an incredible 36.3kg — that’s just under 6 stone gone in 6 months! 🤯

This is proof of what can be achieved when you commit to a goal, trust the process, and stay consistent day after day, week after week, month after month.

We couldn’t be prouder of the work, discipline, and dedication you’ve both shown throughout this journey. No shortcuts, no excuses, just consistency.

Today is your day. Enjoy every second of it, soak up the atmosphere, and be proud of everything you’ve achieved.

We have some incredible people within our walls, and this week one member deserves a special mention…

Last year, Graham Keating set himself the challenge of completing our David Goggins event — walking 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. A huge achievement in itself, but that was only the beginning.

At the start of this year, Graham stepped even further outside his comfort zone and completed his first HYROX Doubles race. Since then, he has been working tirelessly towards his next big goal…

This weekend, Graham takes on the Cateran Yomp — the biggest and toughest event of its kind. Covering an incredible 54 miles across the Scottish wilderness and foothills of the Cairngorm Mountains in just 24 hours, it’s a challenge that demands determination, resilience and serious preparation.

It’s truly inspiring to watch someone set ambitious goals, commit to the process, put in the work day after day, and earn their place at the finish line. 💪

A special mention must also go to Tanya, who has been coaching Graham throughout this journey. It’s a great example of what can be achieved when hard work meets the right support and guidance.

Graham, we’re all behind you and can’t wait to see you smash it this weekend. Good luck from everyone at Gym Antrim!
